![]() ![]() There is a short wait for the elf to come through and call you to visit Father Christmas and then you wait outside his house shortly before being called in. If you’ve completed this information check in takes less than a minute. The queues develop here where people haven’t completed the information required in advance that helps inform Father Christmas about your child. You get taken through to see the reindeer (there was a queue at this point but moved quickly), and then go through to a waiting area where you need to check in to see Father Christmas. You will receive your time slot for visiting Father Christmas and we received a text prompt when it was our time to go and meet him. Keep your eyes peeled for more elves too! The only thing I would say is although the food is good quality it is very expensive! Packed lunches are recommended. There is so much to do in this space and lots to see. Once activities are complete you head into the beautiful elf village which has the ice rink, various gift shops, letter writing and posting centre, restaurants. Each has interactive drama elements and story telling with Mother Christmas which kept my daughter entertained. You’re then split into two groups and go off to your activities.m, which include making a teddy in the workshop and decorating gingerbread men with Mother Christmas. Lots of interactivity which get you in the spirit. Once everyone has checked in the show commences! It’s such a great experience, great costumes and acting. You then go through to check in and the children receive their elf passport. The only real queue we experienced was to go through for your time slot when the rest of your cohort gather together. There’s also the opportunity for a photo in front of the Lapland UK sign. There are little elf houses for the kids to enjoy and a gift shop. You then enter a little village which has hot chocolate and warm snacks available (slightly expensive but good quality) before going through for your time slot. It’s a short walk through the woods to the entrance (make sure to have your covid pass ready for entry). There is plenty of parking available and we were given an elf newspaper upon arrival and you’re then directed to your parking space. We were able to find the place without issues using sat nav. ![]()
